Za Za Zsu Spring Summer 2010 Lookbook
Sahare Hersel: The ideas that mold the Za Za Zsu Sunday Sexy collection came to me in bits and pieces over my life long love affair with fashion. Finally in 2009 the last piece of the puzzle fell in place when I set out to create a vibrant, sensual, and sophisticated contemporary women’s line that could make a woman feel like the sexiest woman in the room every time she slips into a piece. The name Za Za Zsu comes from a french term describing the undeniable and indescribable chemistry between lovers. Sunday Sexy, which is always the term that jumps into my mind when I’m asked to describe the collection, refers to being effortlessly cool, and strikingly sexy…. on sundays you want to throw something on that makes you look like you had a team of people getting you ready, but all it took was a stunning dress or dazzling top and you’re ready to run out the door. The collection consists of casual dresses, tanks and tunics, as well as cocktail dresses and blouses. The beautiful mixture of rich materials and trims that are lovingly hand picked to create this line; ranging from luxe silk crepe back satin, richly textured silk dupioni, elaborate jacquards, flowing silk chiffon, supple leather, paper thin silk habitai, delicate laces, buttery modal and viscose knits, and hand made intricate trims, all add to the rich look and feel of the clothes against the body. All of our garments are skillfully made in the U.S.A with every attention paid to detail and fit. The collection is the perfect mixture of current and timeless, sexy and subtle, edgy and accessible…and sure to make you feel the Za Za Zsu’sRead More
